Big Things Coming from AMSOIL at SEMA 2015

The 2015 SEMA Show is just a week away, kicking off November 3 in Las Vegas, Nev. As the world’s premier automotive specialty trade event, SEMA is the epicenter of the latest and greatest in automotive products, trends and technology. Here at AMSOIL we’re set to make a splash and we’ve got some surprises in store that are sure to make waves. Read on for a sneak-peek at what’s in store for next week at SEMA 2015.

One of the hallmarks of the SEMA Show is the abundance of automotive eye candy found everywhere in sight. Companies display their wares on show-stopping vehicles found in booth spaces and all throughout the grounds, lending visual credence that speaks for itself. Project owners spare no time or expense to make their rides stand out in a sea of awe-inspiring vehicles. AMSOIL is sought out by many of these world-class builders in search of the very best products to display among industry leaders and their peers. Performance must be on par with the aesthetics, and AMSOIL is often at the top of the list for lubricants among the car-building elite. AMSOIL products have been installed in numerous SEMA vehicles, from just-released 2016 models to vintage Porsches and just about everything in between. We can’t wait to see the end results next week when months of hard work come to fruition and these vehicles enter the spotlight bearing AMSOIL logos.

The AMSOIL booth itself will have some of the most unique builds ever to be found on the SEMA Show floor. We aren’t giving anything away just yet, but prepare to be amazed. Gordon Tronson, renowned builder featured many times on The History Channel’s Counting Cars TV show, will be putting his latest project on display for the first time ever in the AMSOIL booth. We’ve also got big things coming from Team Hybrid, our longtime partners who’ve become a force to be reckoned with among those on the tuner scene. There will also be big news from AMSOIL that may or may not involve four wheels. We can’t divulge the details quite yet, but we’ve got something up our sleeve that we know you’ll love.

Last but certainly not least, AMSOIL is set for prominence the New Product Showcase with the 20 new products we introduced over the last year. The New Product Showcase is where industry leaders witness the latest innovations and technology, allowing them to keep up with what’s trending in the automotive market. Check out this year’s crop of AMSOIL products set for display in the 2015 New Product Showcase.

Stay tuned next week for regular updates live from the SEMA Show floor when all will be revealed. We’ll have photos, videos and big announcements to share. Keep up with everything SEMA-related on the AMSOIL Facebook page and right here on the AMSOIL Blog. You won’t want to miss it.
The SEMA Show is not open to the public, but if you happen to be attending the show come visit the AMSOIL booth #24663.

Palo Duro Jeep Jamboree

April 30, 2024 written by Linda Ford We just returned from an epic trip to Amarillo, Texas to attend the Palo Duro Jeep Jamboree.  This event was our 8th Jamboree.  What is a Jeep Jamboree?  Good question!  It's an off-roading event specifically for Jeeps.  Other makes and models are not allowed to attend, you must have a Jeep.  Where are the Jeep Jamborees?  All over the world!  Jeep Jamboree just added events in Iceland, Swiss Alps and Portugal this year.  There are several events throughout the United States.  The eight that we have attended have been in seven different states.  Here is the list of the places we have been with the Jeep Jamboree: Drummond Island, Michigan (twice)    Ozark, Arkansas Lewisburg, West Virginia Seymour, Missouri Deadwood, South Dakota Mole Lake, Wisconsin Amarillo, Texas These events have all sorts of different trails, difficulties and great comradery amongst the fellow trail riders....

Prepping for Texas

April 8, 2024 Written by Mike and Linda Ford  Our next big adventure is a trip to the Palo Duro Jeep Jamboree at Figure 3 Ranch near Amarillo, Texas.   This will be the 9th Jamboree that we have attended and our first time in Texas. Saharacon, our 7-year-old Jeep Wrangler JKU, needed some maintenance this year before she's ready for the trails.  She had a bent rear control arm, all four doors were seized on, the control arm bushings were worn, and she had a leaking front axle.   We also installed a new Stinger infotainment system with cameras on the front and back of the Jeep.  We can't wait to see how it performs on the trail. Working on the doors - AMSOIL MP Metal Protector came through and all the doors were able to be removed, lubed up and put back into place for the season.  We usually leave the doors on all the time, but it doesn't hurt to make sure all the areas are free moving. Next up to get ready is the Ram 3500 Dually and the Lanc...

Snocross to Spring

April 7, 2024 Written by: Mike and Linda Ford  After a very mild winter in the upper-Midwest, we had a crazy spring that has been pulling us many different directions. Our AMSOIL Team had the honor to work the AMSOIL Championship SnoCross events in both Elk River, MN at ERX Motorpark and at Spirit Mountain in Duluth, MN. Both of these tracks have been a part of our AMOILS business for the past 18 years. We always enjoy seeing familiar faces, new faces and watching some great racing. In the past, Duluth National SnoCross took place on Thanksgiving weekend and the last time it was held on that weekend in Duluth was in 2019. That weekend was cut short by a massive blizzard that blanketed the Duluth area and halted racing. It took 5 years for SnoCross to make it back to Duluth and it was a great weekend. Instead of starting the season in Duluth, they finished the season there.  2019 2024
