New AMSOIL Synthetic Dirt Bike Transmission Fluid

AMSOIL Synthetic Dirt Bike Transmission FluidWhether you race motocross, hare scrambles or other events; or hit the trails on weekends with family and friends, you typically have one goal in mind: ride faster and more effectively. In racing, getting out of the gate quickly and grabbing the holeshot is critical to finish on the box. On the trail, you often must modulate the clutch to maneuver around obstacles and tame challenging terrain on your way to the front of the pack.
Clutch slippage or inconsistent clutch feel, however, can lead to slow starts out of the gate and ineffective riding on the trail. To solve that problem, we introduced AMSOIL Synthetic Dirt Bike Oil last year. The lubricant was fine-tuned to deliver confident clutch feel and excellent clutch protection. However, some riders prefer a dedicated dirt bike transmission fluid instead of a multi-purpose motor oil. For them, new AMSOIL Synthetic Dirt Bike Transmission Fluid features a wet-clutch-compatible formulation designed to prevent clutch slippage and deliver consistent, confident clutch feel. It helps enthusiasts ride smoother and faster for maximum performance.
It also provides excellent wear protection for gears and clutch plates. It helps reduce time and money spent on maintenance, helping enthusiasts spend more time riding.
Revised Recommendations
If you are currently satisfied using AMSOIL Synthetic Dirt Bike Oil in your dirt bike transmission, there’s no need to change anything. However,Dirt_Bike.jpg Synthetic Dirt Bike Transmission Fluid is now the primary recommendation for all two-stroke bikes, since two-strokes use a separate sump. Many two-stroke riders look for lubricants labelled specifically for the transmission, and this adjustment is designed to suit their needs.
The four-stroke market segment is slightly different. The popular Honda* CRF is the only four-stroke bike that uses a separate sump, but because the owner’s manual recommends using the same oil in the engine and transmission, AMSOIL Synthetic Dirt Bike Oil remains the primary recommendation. Synthetic Dirt Bike Transmission Fluid is the secondary recommendation.
For all other four-stroke bikes, AMSOIL Synthetic Dirt Bike Oil is the primary – and only – recommendation. For specific product recommendations, consult the Motorcycle Product Guide on www.amsoil.com.

Midwest Ride-in at ERX Motorpark

We had a great time over the weekend checking out the Midwest Ride-in @erxmotorpark in Elk River, Mn. The Midwest Ride-in is a vintage snowmobile show like no other snowmobile show. Participants ride to the show, trailer to the show, and ride all around during the event. And it's not limited to just vintage sleds. ERX Motorpark has a vast trail system that all the snowmobiles were able to check out and enjoy. One of our AMSOIL Dealers, @_aplusoils was at the show all three days representing AMSOIL, selling products to participants and meeting some really cool folks. (We'll share more about that) This was a great fun FAMILY event. Our daughter, son-in-law, and grandkids all had a great time. Our grandson even got to drive his Kitty Cat snowmobile. #familytime #snowmobile #vintagesnowmobile #selfemployed #husbandandwife #husbandandwifeteam #supportsmallbusiness #selfemployedlife #amsoildealerstyle #beyourownboss #amsoilambassador #amsoil #enthusiast Follow u

Ways to Prep Your Snowmobile for Winter

Skip to content Toggle navigat  Ways to Prep Your Snowmobile for Winter Jamie Gibson | Oct 08, 2019 8:18 AM Snowmobile maintenance is a huge part of getting your sled ready for winter . Nothing ruins a ride more than a breakdown, so we put together some tips to help you get your snowmobile ready for winter. Check the spark plugs Inspect spark-plug and wire condition. Ski-Doo E-TEC engines require indexing if removed or replaced, so be sure to check your owner’s manual for proper instructions. Replace plugs that appear excessively dirty or worn along with any worn or frayed wires. Inspect clutches and suspension Check clutches, the drive belt and suspension for wear and tear. Greasing and inspecting the suspension components and slides (hyfax) are a great idea. Slides typically have a small line across them indicating when they are worn out. If they are below the line at all, replace them. Items to check in the suspension include loose or worn parts and missing or loose idler wheels.
